      主要研究方向为计算机视觉、多媒体技术和机器学习。研究侧重点是开发大数据驱动的计算机智能处理系统,进行视觉场景理解、视觉行为分析、多媒体内容理解、及视觉内容检索。当前的研究兴趣还包括面向视觉搜索的紧凑描述子、社会多媒体大数据分析、场景深度推理、人群行为理解、以及遥感图像分析等。70余篇科研论文发表于国际期刊PAMI、IJCV、TIP和国际会议CVPR、ICCV、IJCAI、AAAI、ACM Multimedia上,曾获得2007年微软学者奖、2011年ACM Multimedia最佳论文奖、2015年黑龙江省自然科学二等奖,2016年教育部技术发明一等奖,2018年福建省科技进步一等奖。

      担任CVPR 2021领域主席、Neurocomputing、Multimedia Tools and Applications、The Visual Computer、Frontiers of Computer Science等国际期刊的副编辑,ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology、IEEE Multimedia Magazine、Signal Processing、 Neurocomputing等国际期刊客座编辑、VALSE (视觉与学习青年学者研讨会) 2017大会主席、IEEE MMSP 2015、ACM ICMR 2014、IEEE VCIP 2014、ACM MMM 2015、IEEE ISM 2015等国际会议本地\专题\领域主席、AAAI 2015、CVPR 2013、ICCV 2013、ACM Multimedia 2010-2015等四十余个国际会议的程序委员会委员、IEEE Multimedia Communication技术委员会Visual Analysis and Content Management for Communications专家组主席(2014至今)。曾任中国图象图形学学会青工委副主任、任中国图像图形学学会学术工委副主任、中国自动化学会粒计算与多尺度分析专委会副主任、中国计算机学会计算机视觉专委会常务委员、中国计算机学会学术工委委员、教育部电子信息类教指委人工智能专业建设咨询委员会委员、2017国家自然科学基金委面地青项目、2018国家自然科学基金委重点项目、2018国家自然科学基金委通用联合项目会评专家。

      2005年于哈尔滨工程大学获得本科学位,2011年于哈尔滨工业大学获得博士学位,2011到2013年于美国哥伦比亚大学任博士后研究员。2013年加盟厦门大学信息学院人工智能系,2014年获国家优秀青年科学基金,2017年获国家万人计划青年拔尖人才,2020年获国家杰出青年科学基金。
